Jack Nicklaus returned to Shoal Creek in Alabama to continue Nicklaus Design’s work on the greens and bunkering, as this great course approaches its 40th birthday in 2017. Shoal Creek has been a tremendous host course for a number of championships, from the PGA Championship (1984, 1990) to more recently the Regions Tradition, a senior major. Shoal Creek’s legacy will continue in 2018 when they host the U.S. Women’s Open.
