Jack Nicklaus Apparel to exhibit at 2016 PGA Merchandise Show and showcase Fall 2016 Black Collection

Perry Ellis International announced today plans to exhibit the Jack Nicklaus Apparel Fall 2016 Black Collection at the upcoming 63rd PGA Merchandise Show, January 26–29, in Orlando, Fla. From Wednesday, January 27, to Friday, January 29, Perry Ellis International will exhibit Jack Nicklaus Apparel on the show floor in booth number 6365 at the Orange County Convention Center.
The Fall 2016 Jack Nicklaus Collection is going back to the roots of golf in Scotland—inspired by Jack’s great sense of style during the 1978 Open at St. Andrews and the beautiful sunsets over the Old Course. The color palette is comprised of navy, royal and steel blues, red, and white for the Americana-inspired vignette, and a sunset vignette, which features vivid purples and teals anchored by black, with touches of bright green. The collection is always grounded with navy and base neutrals, such as grey and camel.
“The Majors”—the performance, on-course inspired part of the line—is comprised of short-sleeve polos, featuring Coolplus™ quick-dry yarns with moisture wicking, and four-way stretch fabrics designed to keep the wearer cool and comfortable. This season, ombre and heather looks are important to the collection, as they make big statements for a more techie look that is still grounded in the classics. Long-sleeve polos and base layer quarter-zips have performance attributes, such as four-way stretch and inside brushing for an added level of warmth. High performance outerwear pieces like the Mixed Media Full Zip Jacket, with a high-density knit fabric, offer a 360-degree range of motion. The Hooded Full Zip Jacket is a great on-course water-resistant piece with a removable hood and ventilation for comfort.
“The 19th Hole” portion offers unparalleled attention to detail, luxury and refined comfort. This collection features both luxurious double-mercerized cotton and performance cotton knits that keep the wearer cool and dry, on and off the course. The Bear’s Best Woven Shirts feature wrinkle-free 100% cotton twill fabrics, with a great hand feel. Traditional patterns in unexpected colorations have become a trademark of the line. The new quarter-zip windstopper sweater is one of the “must have” pieces of the season.
