Jack Nicklaus Apparel by PEI Golf debuts Fall 2015 collection at PGA Merchandise Show

basic apparel shotThe Fall 2015 Jack Nicklaus Collection for men and women is timeless and classic, and epitomizes effortless and timeless style, as inspired by the legend himself. Debuting at the PGA Merchandise Show at Booth No. 4091 in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, Wednesday, January 21, through Friday January 23 , the line was designed by Perry Ellis International (PEI) Golf with input throughout the design process by the Golden Bear. One of the most recognizable brands in sports history, each piece bears the renowned Golden Bear logo—an extension of Nicklaus’ iconic career and life as a record-setting champion and devoted family man turned world-acclaimed golf course designer and philanthropist.
Nicklaus’ profound influence on the game of golf is sure to be felt at the PGA Show, which coincides with his 75th birthday Wednesday. Products from various Nicklaus licensees will be available for viewing at the Jack Nicklaus Apparel booth. They include Jack Nicklaus Wines by Terlato; Jack Nicklaus Eyewear by PeakVision; exclusive headwear by AHEAD; golf shoes and belts by Allen Edmonds; and more. The depth and breadth of the Nicklaus line of products—spanning several lifestyle categories—represents 75 years of excellence.
The Fall 2015 Jack Nicklaus Apparel color palette is inspired by old world craftsmanship and classic design:
The Desert Highlands vignette features a classic combination of matte black, flame red and camel. An important statement for the season, this intense bright red draws high levels of attention against black and winter white.
The Aspen Glen vignette is very traditional, as crisp white and Mykonos blue mixes with the classicality of navy. The layering of different shades of blue is key to this palette, creating an easy-to-wear collection that has a base in neutrals. Camel and grey create a sophisticated traditional base that when infused with unusual brights like Blue Danube and Tango Red, personify the essence of the Jack Nicklaus Black Collection.
The Majors The Golden Bear’s record-setting championship legacy on the course inspired part of this line, and it comprises short-sleeve polos, featuring Coolplus™ quick-dry yarns with moisture wicking, and four-way stretch fabrics designed to keep the wearer cool and comfortable. Traditional repp stripes and printed foulards are the key patterns in this portion of the line. Long-sleeve polos and base layer quarter zips have performance attributes like four-way stretch and inside brushing for an added level of warmth. High performance outerwear pieces like the Cougar Canyon ultra-light quilted fleece jacket, offering warmth without the extra weight, as well as the Ruby Hill reversible wind jacket, are great layering pieces designed to be worn and coordinated with any polo in the collection.
The 19th Hole portion of the line offers unparalleled attention to detail, luxury and refined comfort. This collection features both luxurious double-mercerized cotton as well as performance cotton knits that keep the wearer cool and dry on and off the course. The Bear’s Best woven shirts feature wrinkle-free 100 percent cotton twill fabrics with a great hand feel. Traditional patterns in unexpected colorations have become a trademark to the line. The Sherwood Lake Baby French Terry Pullover as well as the Super Fine Merino Wool/Cashmere blend sweaters are great completer pieces to the traditional and refined statement of the Jack Nicklaus Fall 2015 Collection.
