The Golden Bear will join host Mike Golic and Jonathan “Coach” Coachman (who is filling in the rest of the week for Mike Greenberg) to talk about Valhalla Golf Club, the ranked and renowned Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course that will be hosting this week’s PGA Championship.
No fewer than 110 Nicklaus courses have hosted a combined 770+ professional tournaments or significant amateur championships, and this year, a company-record 26 Nicklaus courses will host a PGA Tour-sanctioned event. This is the third regular or senior major championship to be hosted on a Nicklaus course this year, and next month, Nicklaus-designed Gleneagles will host The Ryder Cup. We are in the midst of a three-year run in which Nicklaus Design courses will host golf’s most prestigious international team competitions: The Presidents Cup 2013 at Muirfield Village Golf Club; The Ryder Cup 2014 at Gleneagles; and The Presidents Cup 2015 at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea.
